• Entering Design Data

Data you enter on “Design Data” page mostly serve as information bank and notifying agents and come in handy only when design tables to be inserted in fabrications drawings.

However, a number of items play key roles which must be completed. These items are as follows:

 

  • Item No.
  • Equipment Position
  • Support Type

 

If “Item No.” is not completed, there will be no equipment to be related to it in the following pages and unless you specify “Equipment Position” and “Support Type”, you cannot complete the information on Support page.

  • Entering Weight & Load Data

Data you enter on “Weight & Load” page come in handy for inserting in fabrication drawings and “Erection Weight” will only be used in comparing Comparative Report (which will be explained in detail).

Since “Design Data” and “Weight & Load” data might resemble with regard to different items, be aware not to neglect “Copy Last” and “Copy Nearest” capabilities to complete the information on these pages!
